Hearing Skylar agree so readily, Stella felt a massive weight lift off her chest.<\/p>\n
She pulled out her phone. “Skylar, can we exchange contacts? It’ll be easier to keep in touch about the follow-ups.”<\/p>\n
Skylar’s smile was gentle. “Of course. And just call me Skylar. We’re old classmates, after all; there’s no need to be so formal.”<\/p>\n
Stella nodded. “Alright. Skylar, once I’ve confirmed the time with Professor Thorne, I’ll send you the details and the address.”<\/p>\n
Stella would have loved to take Logan to see the professor herself, but she knew perfectly well that he wouldn’t give her the time of day. He would only see it as another pathetic attempt to cling to him.<\/p>\n
