Chapter 43

He Never Noticed Me Until I Loved Someone Else novel Chapter 43

[Logan and I will head over after dinner. See you then.]

Seeing the confirmation from Skylar, Stella breathed a sigh of relief.

The appointment with the professor was for seven-thirty, so there was still plenty of time.

Lacking any real appetite, Stella grabbed a quick bite before grabbing the specialty tea she had carefully picked out during her lunch break. She hurried to the hotel where Professor Thorne was staying.

The five-star hotel was a vision of opulent gold and marble.

Professor Thorne was staying in an executive suite on the top floor. When Stella arrived, he had just finished an online consultation.

On the large coffee table sat a portable medical kit and a stack of brain CT scans, the documents covering more than half the surface.

Stepping into the room, Stella politely greeted the professor and his assistant, handing over the gift bag.

“Professor Thorne, I heard you enjoy tea, so I picked out a little something. It’s just a small token of my appreciation.”

The professor was easygoing and accepted the gift with a warm smile and a thank you.

After some brief pleasantries, Stella cut to the chase and explained Logan’s condition.

Noticing her tense, anxious demeanor, Professor Thorne offered a comforting word. “His type of amnesia is certainly unique, but it’s not entirely unprecedented. Try not to worry too much.”

That simple sentence struck Stella right in her weak spot, and a sudden lump formed in her throat.

Logan didn’t remember her at all, and he was completely wrapped up with Skylar. It was impossible not to be devastated.

Just then, a knock echoed from the door. The assistant went to open it.

Stella looked toward the entrance, her heart in her throat.

It really was Logan and Skylar.

As soon as Skylar walked in, she greeted the professor with a bright smile, her face full of admiration as she expressed how honored she was to meet an industry legend.

Logan, on the other hand, looked like he’d rather be anywhere else. Impatience shadowed his features. When his gaze swept over Stella, he didn’t even pause for a second, looking straight past her.

["post-3331","chapter","type-chapter","status-publish","hentry
["GET
