Chapter 215

He Never Noticed Me Until I Loved Someone Else novel Chapter 215

Hearing Stella’s confusion, Skylar chuckled softly over the line.

She explained that Vance Manufacturing required a massive, high-quality order of custom uniforms and that she wanted to give the contract directly to SD Apparel.

Stella was completely caught off guard.

At Mr. Jenson’s birthday banquet, Skylar had casually mentioned that Stella could reach out if she ever needed help.

Stella had assumed it was just empty aristocratic politeness. Besides, she would never actually seek Skylar’s assistance anyway.

She certainly never expected Skylar to proactively hand her a massive manufacturing contract on a silver platter.

This wasn’t Skylar asking for a favor—this was Skylar doing her a massive favor.

“Thank you, Skylar, but I can’t accept something for nothing. I can’t just take such a massive contract without earning it,” Stella politely declined.

Skylar let out a light, airy laugh. “Stella, I know what you’re worried about. But I’m only acting as the middleman here to introduce you. Whether your designs and quality actually pass their inspections is entirely up to your own capabilities.”

“You’re running a business now. You don’t just shove potential clients out the door, right? Or are you just that lacking in confidence when it comes to SD Apparel?” Skylar teased.

Stella felt a flush of mild embarrassment.

Skylar made a solid point. As a businesswoman, she couldn’t afford to throw away a lucrative opportunity just because of personal awkwardness.

Regardless of whether the deal went through, she needed to sit down, evaluate the terms, and see where things stood before making a call.

If they did secure the contract, the subsequent operational details would be handled by their respective teams anyway. It wasn’t as if taking the job meant she’d be forced into daily contact with Skylar or Logan.

And frankly, from Skylar’s perspective, she probably didn’t want Stella anywhere near Logan either.

Resolving the conflict in her mind, Stella smiled. “Of course I have confidence. In that case, the lunch is on me.”

Skylar didn’t waste time on false modesty. “It’s a date, then. There’s a new restaurant I’ve been wanting to try that has amazing reviews. I’ll text you the address, let’s meet there.”

“Sounds good,” Stella agreed.

["post-3503","chapter","type-chapter","status-publish","hentry
["GET
