Yvette pressed on, “Stella, I managed to book a table at The Hidden Garden Bistro. It’s incredibly hard to get a reservation there. Just consider it a celebration of my escape from that nightmare, and keep me company!”<\/p>\n
Unable to refuse such an earnest invitation, Stella agreed.<\/p>\n
Before heading to the bistro, Stella texted Jarrod to let him know she was having dinner with Yvette.<\/p>\n
Jarrod replied quickly, telling her to let him know when she was heading home so they could head back at the same time.<\/p>\n
Even though they were living under the same roof, Jarrod was drowning in work, so they hadn’t actually spent much time together.<\/p>\n
